ASBA Offers Assistance in Dealing With Insurance Companies

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Chicago, IL - April 6, 2010 - Deciphering medical bills and following up on the insurance claims that spring from them is sometimes difficult for seniors. Each health provider has its own way of billing; each insurer its own way of explaining benefits paid and amounts due. Tracking the information to make sure that all claims are paid is a laborious process that, in many cases, is left to the adult children or grandchildren of seniors.

But today, the American Senior Benefits Association (ASBA) announced that it will launch a new program aimed at helping caregivers avoid the tedium that comes with sorting through mountains of paperwork.
