American Senior Benefits Association
Announces 2008 Scholarship Recipients

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Chicago, IL - October 1, 2008 - The American Senior Benefits Association recently announced the 2008 winners of the ASBA College Scholarship Grants.

These scholarships are made available on a yearly basis through the ASBA College Scholarship Foundation, and are awarded to grandchildren and other dependents of ASBA members. Qualified applicants can receive up to $1,000 to be applied to college tuition costs.

Bill Hill, Sr., President and Chairman of the Board of ASBA, said these scholarships have been a big hit with ASBA members since their introduction in 2007. "With an increasing number of grandparents taking an interest in the education of their grandchildren, it is rewarding for them to be able to contribute to that education", said President Hill. "We at ASBA are pleased to offer these scholarships as a resource. We feel they are a benefit to everyone involved."

The list of 2008 winners can be found on the Scholarships page of the ASBA website, www.asbaonline.org.
