ASBA Awards 2012 Scholarship Grant

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Chicago, IL - August 31, 2012 - As part of an annual tradition, the American Senior Benefits Association (ASBA) helps college students pay their tuition through the ASBA College Scholarship Grant program. ASBA today announced this year's 2012 scholarship recipient.

The winners are selected by the ASBA Board. The winner received a $1,000 grant to be used for tuition toward an undergraduate degree or program. The ASBA Scholarship Grant program has become one of ASBA's most popular programs. ASBA members can nominate their college age children or grandchildren to receive a scholarship.

"We understand the importance of being able to help family members with education", said Bill Hill, Sr., ASBA's President and Chairman of the Board. "ASBA gives members the opportunity to do so."

This year's ASBA Scholarship Grant winner is Jennifer O., who will attend the University of Northern Iowa.
